Introduction
“The journey of a thousand miles begins with a single step”. Yes, Drawmet
was conceived as a small stainless steel wire manufacturing company in
1988. The company initially targeted the domestic market but destiny
had already set loftier goals. Exports, which were initiated in 1995
have blossomed into a fully matured market. An expansion was
undertaken, tripling the capacity and enhancing the product range to
cater the export market. The company now enjoys ninety percent overseas
sales of its products. The applications include weaving, knitting,
braiding, etc. Stainless steel wires with a wide range of diameters
from 0.025 to 5.0 mm and varying tensile strengths as per customer
requirements are manufactured by the company.
S.S. wire rope was added to the product basket of the company
in 2005. The machinery was imported from USA & Germany. The product
ranges from 0.48 mm to 16.0 mm in different constructions and grades.
The applications include marine, architecture, automobiles, etc. We are
now qualified suppliers to many European Companies.
Located merely 70
km south of the capital city of New Delhi, Drawmet was promoted by
Rajiv Jain, an experienced technocrat from an industrial family. He is
currently holding the responsibilities of Managing Director. The
company is equipped with modern indigenous and German machines such as
Schmidts, Henrich, Trakus, etc. Quality of critical inputs is monitored
closely for desired final results. Product & process innovation is
the key to Drawmet's success.
A motivated team of trained
personnel performs all functions of the company. The processes are
controlled and quality assurance is practiced at every stage of
production to ensure a consistent product quality. The in-process data
generated and customer feedback received are regularly analyzed to
achieve continuous improvement in product quality and customer service.
